Prices

Prices are in cents of the collateral, from 1¢ to 99¢. Yes at 62¢ means No at 38¢. One share pays 1 if its side wins.

The price you see on a market is the last trade. When there are no trades yet, Archery shows an estimated chance: halfway between the best offers to buy and sell, labelled “estimated chance · no trades yet”. It never shows a number it can’t trace to a real order.

When you buy, you take other people’s sell offers, cheapest first. The ticket shows your average price, the worst price you’ll pay, the fee, and what you get if Yes, No or Invalid wins. You trade with other people’s orders, never with Archery. You can lose what you put in.

“Low liquidity” means one side has no offers or the gap between buy and sell offers is wide; trades may fill at worse prices than the last trade.
